Life After Death: A Six-Minute Journey to a Surprising Vision of Heaven

A person claiming to have “died for six minutes” shared on Reddit what heaven is really like and explained why people’s general beliefs about heaven might be incorrect.

While it is certainly not a pleasant topic, there is a great deal of curiosity about what happens after death and what happens when “you die.”

A person claiming to have “died for six minutes” described in detail what they witnessed and how they perceived heaven during that time.

In 2003, a 15-year-old boy’s heart stopped for six minutes due to health issues, and what occurred during that time was truly incredible.

“I was technically dead”

An unnamed Reddit user recounted in a “no sleep” forum on the popular social media platform how they effectively died for six minutes.

The Reddit user described that it “happened suddenly”: “I was breathless and collapsed. The details of what happened next were told to me later.”

“I was apparently lying on the road, and a woman driving a hatchback was almost crushing my skull under her tires. Instead, she suddenly stopped, tried to wake me, and when that failed, she called for emergency services.”

“When the EMS arrived, they saw that my heart had stopped. I was technically dead.”

“They took my body to the hospital and somehow managed to bring me back to life.”

“Thus began a challenging journey through the American health system that lasted for weeks and eventually led to ablation, a pacemaker, and the mountains of debt my family is still grappling with.”

“I have no gratitude for God for anything”

Fortunately, it is said that the Reddit user is currently in good health and that the experience they had that day instilled in them a feeling of “no gratitude to God for anything.”

The person sharing their story added: “Because during those six minutes, my lifeless body was traveling through the city with two paramedics who were tirelessly working to revive me, my soul transcended to visit the afterlife. During my visit, I learned things about our universe that I wish I had not.”

“Perhaps by sharing my story, I can help our species prepare for what we will experience after death.”

“Six minutes in heaven”

While six minutes is not a long time, the Reddit user said it felt like “a lifetime.”

They spent time “entertaining” a soul that they thought had “a childish nature and was prone to psychologically disturbing manipulations.”

The unnamed individual added: “I was toyed with like a cat with a captured mouse, and it seemed to enjoy the pain it was inflicting on me.”

“The physical discomfort we think of as hell pales in comparison to the torment of emotional pain. Losing a loved one is the closest experience to that piercing emotional damage caused by trauma.”

“When it was understood that my time on Earth was not yet finished and that I would return, I was told that I had to keep their existence a secret from the rest of our species.”

“My reward, as they conveyed to me, would be a marginally improved position among the slave population. Alternatively, if I managed to convince others of their existence, new horrors awaited me upon my return.”

The trauma of returning to life

Although the time in heaven was not as one might expect, returning to normal life was traumatic for the individual.

“For weeks, I tried to tell anyone who would listen about what I had experienced,” the individual recounted.

“Everyone told me that I had undergone a very serious and traumatic experience for a young man, that the event had left scars on my soul and heart.”
